BLURB:
Keep your enemies close. . . .

For the first time since moving to New Salem, Cassie Blake feels normal. She's dating her soul mate Adam and making new friends in town. But between the secret coven of witches she belongs to and the incredible power she holds within her, Cassie is leading a far from ordinary life. When tragedy strikes the Circle, Cassie realizes being extraordinary can be a curse.

The Circle is being hunted by an unknown enemy—and anyone could be the next victim. As they struggle to protect themselves, alliances are formed and relationships are tested. No one knows who to trust or who to fear. Will Cassie be able to save the Circle . . . and herself? Or will her choices break it apart forever?

EXPECTATIONS: Been reading this series lately so no surprise really that I went for the next book.

THE WORLD: Just like in previous books we are still in New Salem about 20 years back from today simply because of publication day. Salem is known for witches and that is exactly what this series is about.

CHARACTERS: I think by now it is well established that despite many characters the main ones are Cassie, Adam, Diana and Faye. If you read previous books you are aware of Cassie Adam and Diana triangle but thankfully it is solved by this book tho frankly I do not care for Adam. I think he is super boring character and not attractive in any way. I feel similar about Diana too, she is just too good to be interesting and she never ever says anything powerful. On the other hand Faye who is the bad one in a Circle starts to be annoying and kinda not really clear on who's side she is. I mean we know she dislikes Cassie but still, a bit confusing. And Cassie is just Cassie, the main reason I read this series.

ROMANCE: As I already mentioned the love triangle is finally over. Tho now that I think of it it was kinda cool that for once it was a guy and two girls and not other way around!

GOOD: Witches, continuing story and Salem. I love when the Circle interacts with older people and secrets are revealed and in general this one was pretty good.

BAD: It is very simple story line and I think it is def not for everybody.

OVERALL: So I think besides first book this is my favorite, I mean finally love triangle is solved and some bad things start to really happen.

What do you think about THE DIVIDE?
